LONDON | DAY TWO

Day two in London began with a very exiting trip to the Science Museum, which surprisingly I have never been to before. If you have been reading my blog for a while you will know visiting science museums is one of my favourite things to do as a tourist. So off we went, stopping for breaky on the way to the tube station.

After exploring space and transport we took a walk around the other exhibitions which included the body, global warming and 3D printing among many others, you could seriously spend all day here. Seeing the 3D printed gun in the flesh really brought up mixed emotions for me. Here was an incredible step forward in technology but it is scary to think how easily a weapon can be created, even in a country with such strict guns laws...

We then walked across the road to the V&A museum to explore the fashion exhibitions.

Then of course no trip to London is complete without a visit to Harrods and the food and tea halls!

The home section gave me some great inspiration and research materials.

The afternoon was spent exploring the east of London so lunch was at the Gourmet Burger Kitchen in Spitalfields. I am so sorry I didn't take any pictures but I clearly just enjoyed it, so much!

We strolled around Shoreditch dipping in and out of vintage shops and taking numerous pictures of the amazing street art before ending up an Boxpark.

After getting the tube to Camden and exploring the market we stopped for Shisha, green tea and a little time to rest out feet.

We ended our long day with magic tricks in Hamley's, an all you can eat Chinese buffet in Soho, Nutella waffles from the Scoop on Brewer Street and a late night stroll over Tower Bridge.
