Boating and Surfing, Sligo, Ireland

Our final couple of days in Sligo were full of adventure as the wind had died down and the sun was making much longer appearances in the sky.

Paul owns a rowing boat and when we were much younger we used to go on adventures in the nearby lochs. My sister's birthday request was to go back to one of the islands we visited and make a camp fire and eat s'mores!

We had just as much fun as big kids exploring the island and it brought back fond memories.

There is also some amazing surf on the west coast so of course we had to give Rob his first surfing lesson! When I say we, I mean Sarah because I was far too cold so watched from the shore ;)

What a perfect way to end our mini holiday, the moon rising over the mountains and the sun setting over the horizon...

Check out the rest of our week in Sligo here, here and here.

Might any of you guys head to the west coast of Ireland to explore?
