This weeks 'Love Walking' is another longy for endurance...

Very simply you park by the old railway station in Keswick and walk the 4 miles to Threlkeld and back. It's flat but pretty and perfect for spotting deer. There are loads of places to stop for a picnic by the river but if you fancy treating yourself head into Threlkeld village to the Horse & Farrier Inn for anything from hot bacon and brie sandwiches to homemade curry. It is a lovely place even if just for a drink in the beer garden to prepare you for the 4 mile return journey.

Next week we are tackling Grisedale Pike - same time, same place!!
