A Space Shuttle in Real Life

I haven't forgotten about the rest of my NYC blog posts, I've just been pretty busy as usual! We went camping in the Lakes this weekend to celebrate what would have been my dad's 60th birthday. I didn't take many pictures but I will tell you all about it soon.

I'm currently writing this blog posts while sitting in the conservatory over looking the sea with our puppy playing at my feet, not such a bad day :)

I saw Intrepid when I first went to New York last year so when I heard it was a museum I knew Rob and I had to go. It was one of the few ticketed attractions we visited during our time there so it must be good.

The entrance fee was $31 each including access to the Space Shuttle Pavilion. I mean, we are talking about getting up close and personal to a real life space shuttle here. You also get to go on a submarine, look around and learn the history of the aircraft carrier, see loads of cool planes (the blackbird is one of Rob's favourites) AND there is Concorde just chilling on the pier.

This was a good day in New York. Get yourselves to Intrepid!
