The last 2 days Rob and I have been ticking off all the usual touristy stuff in Midtown so we can spend more time later in the week chilling a little off the beaten track. These pictures are from the first day where I cleverly dragged my camera around but forgot my memory card so they are from my phone. I'll show you guys day 2 from my camera soon!
It is really really warm right now in NYC and pretty humid so the air con on the Subway is like heaven. The streets around Times Square, 5th and the Rockefeller Center are crazy busy so I think we are ready for something a bit more chill tomorrow. Maybe boating in Central Park.
I really liked Bryant Park as it's a little piece of green heaven surrounded by a juxtaposition of architecture. The cities landscape is really very diverse. There is a free Theatre Under the Stars Shakespeare performance there later this week which we are definitely going to try and go to.
Now to go and see if we can get onto the rooftop of our apartment building to watch the sunset!
