La Petite Ferme


Oh La Petite Ferme! We cannot go to Franschhoek without a visit to one of the most incredible lunch spots in the world. Situated at the top of the valley there is the most amazing view from your table in stunning surroundings of trees and colourful flowers. The food is delicious and topped off with fantastic service. A truly wonderful experience. Now less of the gushing and onto the good stuff. We love their own La Petite Ferme Sauvignon Blanc 2015 followed by their dish of the day which was Gemsbok and Sarah opted for the Whole Smoked Trout. The portion sizes are very manageable meaning we couldn't resist the Fresh Strawberries, Tonka Bean Ice Cream and the Classic Vanilla Crème Bruleé.

This morning was a cloudy morning in Camps Bay so we've been reading by the pool and I'm catching up on some blog posts! We had the most incredible time in Franschhoek so I really want to do it justice and save the best until last so now I'm going to skip forward to the present day and the very beautiful Camps Bay (or it will be when the cloud lifts).
